A well-known form of packaging film is the top film. This foil is mainly used in packaging for fresh food products. Some examples are: ready-to-eat meals, cold meats, cheese, soft fruit and salads. A top film, also known as a top seal is placed on a plastic tray where the food is already in and is then sealed. As a result, the packaging is hermetically sealed and protects the contents against environmental factors.
High demands on food safety apply to topseal foil. Because this film comes into direct contact with food, barriers to migration are very important. There is another barrier for each product. For example cheese must be able to breathe, but a liquid content must be 100% airtight. Customization is therefore very common here. Altrif Label can support you throughout this process.
A top seal can be produced both fully and partially printed and unprinted, for example to keep the contents of the product visible.
What distinguishes Altrif Label from the competition is fast delivery times. We have a wide stock of basic materials so we deliver much faster than what is common in the market. Send your request easily via the website.
