Sustainable Business Practices
Pursuing sustainable business practices has become increasingly important in doing business. Altrif Label also attaches great value to sustainable operations. Inside our organisation we are continuously searching for a balance between the 3 p’s: people, planet and profit. A first indication of this can be found in our ISO certifications. This certificate demonstrates the importance we attach to the subject of the environment and that our operations conform to the requirements of current regulations. We also focus our attention on raw materials and we are FSC certified. We consider it important that our paper is produced in line with sustainable forest management principles and we promote the sale of this paper to our customers.

Our sustainable business development can be observed in our ethical norms and values. We want to be a good employer for our employees and in addition follow the ETI base code. This code comprises 9 principles:
As a good employer we want to create a working environment in which our staff enjoy coming to work and in addition are able to perform well. We therefore provide amongst others, a personalised introduction programme for new employees, performance appraisals, evaluation interviews, development possibilities, courses, personnel activities and good fringe benefits. |

For years within our organization, we have separated waste streams and we are constantly searching for new possibilities. Hence we are examining recycling possibilities and we have a take back programme with HP. Here the ink waste is collected and processed there in large volumes. In addition to this we are promoting environmentally friendly company cars and the use of environmentally friendly cleansing agents for use in production. |

Our company invests in sponsoring and charities. For example, for years we have collected furniture and clothing to send to schools in the Ukraine. In addition, our founder and director Free Doomen, has provided housing in the area where he lives from the ‘foundation Homico’. He is hereby the foundation’s patron. This foundation provides development aid through the sale of second-hand articles. The profits from our company are for the most part invested in new techniques, machines and developments. |
