Some packages are more difficult to label than others. One of the more difficult packages are skin packs. This type of packaging wraps the product after it has been completely vacuumed. For example, each package is different from each other and the packaging takes the form of the product. Some examples are: meat and fish packaging in the supermarket.
A skinpack label is perfect for this in that it follows the contours of the packaging. The label fits well on the packaging and leaves no gap. This gives you plenty of room for your product information.
Skinpack labels are often used in the food market but are certainly not exclusively intended for these markets. There are no direct restrictions in terms of printing. You can give your label the desired appearance and information you are looking for. Think of colors and size. The label must only be straight in shape in order to be properly processed on a special linerless labeling machine. For more information about linerless labels and the difference with other labels view our linerless labels page.
Feel free to contact Altrif Label for a tailor-made advice for linerless labels.
