Pre-glued Trays

In addition to boxes that are closed with valves, a product can also be packed in a cardboard tray. These trays are glued in the corners so that they are completely closed and therefore have a closed bottom. Where an autolock closure has seams, a glued tray does not have it. These trays can be glued on four or six points. If it concerns a tray, it is a 4-point glued tray. Are you looking for a tray with a lid to seal your product, this is called a 6-point glued tray (also called lid lid box). A well-known example of a glued tray is the cake box. This box holds the product in place and completely closes at the top.

Bonded trays are widely used in the fruit and vegetable market. A common combination package is a double 4-point glued tray. These trays are made so that they fit over each other and you get a close-fitting package for your product (bottom-lid combination).
