Artwork submission specifications conventional printing

In order to process your artwork quickly and smoothly we have detailed below our up to date specification requirements. If you

Fonts:	We prefer the tekst in outlines. Note: we can nott correct or adjust text converted to outline. If you deliver fonts, please send all the fonts used in the artwork even it’s Helvetica or Futura. Every font in a seperate folder.

 

General technical

• We prefer (certified pdfs).
• If you import scans, adaptations like rotating, blowing-up, reducing, lateral reversal need to first be applied in Photoshop and then imported in used programs.
• Scans minimum 300 dpi, to be saved as TIFF/EPS/PSD).
• To overrun: start from 1% (never from/to 0%).
• Bleeding minimal 1,5mm.
• There should be sufficient trapping between the colours of 0,5pt.
• White text or object not on overprint.
• Diapositive text not smaller then 4 points.

General

• Please send a composition (in connection with text control and text break-off) and the last approved colour-seperate print. We maintain PMS-norms for spot colours.
• Cutterline in spotcolour (100M/100Y) and name it CUTTER. (Capitals).
• Cutter on overprint.
• White and varnish as separate spotcolours.
• Depending of the artwork the screen ruling is 54 (133 lpi), ruling 60 (154 lpi) or ruling 69 (175 lpi).
